EA just dropped a massive hint of the FIFA 22 online career mode by mentioning it in a job posting on their website.
The career mode in FIFA 21 is purely an offline mode and has been for all previous EAs. EA Sports FIFA game titles and fans of the mode have called for a big overhaul of the upcoming FIFA 22 game.
EA has added a number of new features to FIFA 21 Career Mode, including Interactive Match Sim, new Match Launcher, revamped growth system, Match sharpness, improved Opposition AI, Management System activities, team calendar planning and more.

But those changes were only minor, and Career Mode has essentially remained very similar over the last few FIFA titles, but that could all be about to change.
Fans of FIFA Career Mode on social media spotted an EA job posting on their official website, which may have given FIFA fans a hint that an online career mode could be coming to FIFA. 22, or even FIFA 23.
The job posting is for a Online Software Engineer (C ++ – FIFA) at EA, which is located in Vancouver, Canada.
The job description states that “A As an online software engineer, you will help build our network game development team, ”
“Whether in our online career mode , ultimate team or core online systems and protocols. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy prototyping and planning, adding amazing new features to an existing and loved game, and improving existing code. ”
In addition, in the responsibilities of the post, this particular role must “develop technical solutions for online gaming functionalities”.
The language used in this description seems to suggest that EA is considering an online career mode at some point, whether for FIFA 22, FIFA 23 or even more in the future, but it’s hard to confirm this anyway. Stadium.
