ILOIT City Public Employment Service Office (Peso) is hosting a two-day online job fair with business process outsourcing (BPO) companies on November 25-26.

As an economic recovery activity due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Peso has partnered with at least 12 BPO firms which will hire some 500 agents.

Applicants should email their CV to [email protected]

Mayor Jerry Treñas thanked the BPOs for providing more jobs to the population, as well as being active partners with the municipal government in various development initiatives.

“This time we are focusing on BPOs that need to hire additional workers. Once candidates have submitted their CV, they will wait for a call from companies and wait for instructions to conduct an online interview. They will expect a call to schedule the second test and there will be a pre-screening and then a final interview,” Peso chief Gab Umadhay said.

Interested persons can check the Facebook page of the Iloilo-Peso City Public Employment Service Office for available job vacancies. (RP)
