Singapore (VNA) – More than 600 Vietnamese students from 13 countries around the world participated in an online career workshop organized by the Vietnamese Youth Alliance in Singapore (VNYA) on July 24-25.
VNYA Career Fair 2021 also brought together representatives from a number of companies such as P&G Vietnam, Shopee Vietnam and VNG Corporation.
With the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, the association had spent two months preparing for the event which aims to provide Vietnamese students and alumni in Singapore and other countries with a glimpse of the future working environment in amid the impact of COVID-19.
Company representatives spoke about recruitment trends and programs to attract talent and shared their experience in applying for a job.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Mai Phuoc Dung welcomed the association’s initiative to organize the online workshop in the context of the pandemic.
Vietnam should learn from Singapore’s experience in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation and the economy, biotechnology and fintech, he suggested.
According to VNYA President Nguyen Thao Nhi, this is the first ever online event organized by the association, saying that the participation of Vietnamese students and alumni has been a source of encouragement for the association to organize events. similar events in the future. /.
